The
Bluestone Room is Central Auckland's newest Monteith's bar - tucked away on
Durham Lane in the heart of Auckland's CBD - not far from City Life and in
between Queen Street and Albert Street.
This amazing venue is more than 140 years old, and is the oldest stone
structure left in Auckland Central - dating back to the 1850's.
Today, the two storey building has been beautifully renovated, detailing
exposed wooden rafters, polished wooden floors and gorgeous wooden-framed,
original basalt stone walls. There is a relaxing bar and restaurant on the
ground level and an awesome party venue on the top floor.
The downstairs bar has been kitted out with leather booths, bench seats, tall
tables and stools... and upstairs there is a separate bar with a spacious
wooden dance floor, surrounded by six wide-screen plasma televisions and a
fantastic sound system.
So come and experience this amazing new venue for yourself - at the Mass
Christmas Party - upstairs at the Bluestone Room - Saturday, December 10th.
