FINAL SALVATION
So after 14 glittering events, Auckland's spectacular Salvation dance
party returns for one final night of SALVATION ANTHEMS - past & present.
"We thought an anthems night was fitting for the final Salvation", says organiser
Mike Modrich. "Salvation
has always been known for its anthemic, hands-in-the-air music style, so what better way to celebrate the end of
an era than with a night full of the most popular Salvation anthems - past and present!"
FEATURING DJ RUBY (SYD)
In keeping with its anthemic theme, the final Salvation features Mr. Anthems himself, DJ
RUBY from Sydney.
Ruby is an icon in the gay Australian dance scene having played at numberous
top Aussie events such as Mardi Gras,
Tropical Fruits and Sleaze Ball.
He has also been to Auckland on several occasions, including appearances at Hero
in 2007 & 2008 - but this will be his 1st time rocking the dance floor at Salvation.
Ruby will also be joined on the main floor by resident Salvation DJ's Donald Bennett,
Marty and Mauri.
"We've got lots of great tunes lined up for this special night", says DJ Marty,
"so we hope you can join us in celebrating 6 awesome years of Salvation!"
GAY REPUBLIC LOUNGE
Auckland's Gay Republic also joins the
Salvation Team in hosting what will undoubtedly be a night to remember!
The upstairs Galatos Lounge Bar will feature the funky house
grooves and heavenly strings of Republic DJs Katie Rey &
Rachael Sabin. Their sparkling vocals and disco-fuelled
basslines creating an evening of concentrated bliss that will bring down the glitterballs!

This area will be transformed into an elegant Gay Republic cocktail lounge,
giving party-goers two distinctly fun, but different areas to enjoy on the night.

After 6 years of running Salvation dance parties, organisers have decided to take a well-deserved break.
"This will be your last chance for Salvation", says promoter Mike Modrich. "So we hope you can join us and help send
Salvation 15 off with a bang!"
